Job Summary
IAM Solution Architect leadership role responsible for defining the architectural vision, multi-year IAM roadmaps, and the evolution of Roche's Identity & Access Management ecosystem. The role bridges security strategy to tangible technology solutions, providing technical mentorship and governance across seven IAM areas, championing Zero Trust, policy-as-code, and CI/CD/DevSecOps integration. Key activities include strategic roadmap definition, cross-functional technical leadership, lifecycle management of IAM components, ensuring compliance with GDPR and global data privacy, and delivering an intuitive end-user experience while protecting critical digital assets. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in Enterprise IAM/IT Security, a relevant degree, hands-on expertise in core IAM pillars and tools, professional security certifications, and strong communication skills in English.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of successful technical experience supporting Enterprise IAM and IT Security systems in a major global organization
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related Engineering field or equivalent experience
- Technical mastery across core pillars: Identity Governance & Administration (SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow), Access Management/Directory Services (Entra ID, Ping Identity, Active Directory, OIDC/SAML), Privileged Access Management/Secret Management (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault), Data Access Control (PBAC), Customer IAM (SAP CDC/Gigya)
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, or CISA) highly desirable
- Experience with modern software architecture (microservices, APIs) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- DevOps & Automation experience with CI/CD and tools like Ansible and Jenkins
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; English proficiency
