Solution Architect - Finance & ERP

Job Summary
Design end-to-end application and software solution architectures for Prudential's Finance technology landscape, including ERP (Oracle Financials), Actuarial, and Procure-to-Pay platforms. Partner with the Enterprise Architect to translate enterprise strategy into actionable designs, producing high-quality artefacts such as integration diagrams, architecture decision records, and detailed design documents. Evaluate technology options and API frameworks to balance functionality, cost, and security while ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management standards. Work closely with business analysts, engineering, and delivery teams throughout the SDLC to identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies. Present solution designs to senior stakeholders and support architecture review boards, operating independently to maintain alignment with Prudential's target architecture and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10–12 years of overall IT experience
- demonstrable track record in Finance techno-functional roles
- experience in systems integration
- experience in solution design
- Minimum of 5 years of solutioning experience within the Finance domain
- experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle Financials
- experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a techno-functional capacity across Oracle Financials areas such as AHCS (Accounting Hub), Oracle Integration (OIC), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and related sub-ledgers
- Experience with API frameworks, having worked with both REST and SOAP APIs within the Finance domain
- integration design across ERP, P2P and adjacent finance systems
- Working familiarity with project management principles and practices
- ability to operate effectively within structured delivery frameworks
- Proven ability to create Detailed Design Documents (DDDs) covering solution, integration and data design
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare clear, well-structured presentations for architecture reviews and senior stakeholder audiences
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
- ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- relevant professional certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Oracle Financials, Azure/GCP Solutions Architect)
- At least 2 years of experience within Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI)
- exposure to the Insurance and Actuarial space
