Job Summary
Solution Architect needed to grow Eurofins' architecture practice. You will perform solution design activities to deliver valid architectures across application components, integrations, communications, and security; provide technical leadership to deliver complex, high-quality designs; own non-functional requirement specifications including performance, availability, resilience, budget, and regulatory compliance; communicate solutions to stakeholders and senior management; challenge scope to enable informed business decisions; collaborate with IT Security to manage risk; incorporate leading-edge technologies and industry standards; utilize Eurofins standard and custom solutions for multi-year initiatives; adhere to architecture principles; collaborate on innovative ideas and deliver winning solutions. Required experience includes 5+ years as Solution Architect for large IT programs, cloud/on-premises hybrid environments, Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Serverless architectures, C4 modelling, TOGAF/Zachman knowledge, enterprise-architecture experience, and willingness to travel 10%. The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration, and ability to work in a complex international, home/office hybrid environment and to travel to global locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as Solution Architect for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects
- Experience with on premise/cloud hybrid environments
- Experience in designing Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Serverless architectures
- Experience with architecture modelling using visualization models such as C4
- Enterprise Architecture framework knowledge (TOGAF, Zachman etc.)
- Experience at the Enterprise architecture level or equivalent is a plus
- Experience working with distributed teams or offshore teams is a plus
- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in IT and software development awareness is desired
- Knowledge/expertise in Infrastructure/technology Architecture, SOA principles, Domain-driven design, REST, OO/design techniques
- Willingness to travel to Eurofins global locations on occasions (10%)
