Job Summary
Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services, defining secure onboarding, integration, and sharing patterns using Google Cloud Platform components like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and IAM. Lead architecture discussions with business and technology stakeholders to drive decision-making during implementation, while producing documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications. Establish infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches to ensure scalable, secure, and governed solutions aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements. Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
- Understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English

- Experience in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
- Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programmes
- Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
