Solution and Technical Architect

Solution and Technical Architect leads the design and delivery of large Federal IT programs focused on homeland security systems and innovative solutions. The role leverages 10+ years of architecting system and cloud solutions, engagement with senior government clients, and collaboration with development teams to modernize legacy applications, develop AI and machine intelligence-enabled solutions, and ensure successful mission outcomes. The work is in a hybrid environment with time split between client sites, the DC office, and remote work, and requires residence in the Washington, DC area within commuting distance of client sites. Key responsibilities include providing technology and cloud support to government chief architects, designing across technologies, performing code reviews, ensuring QA and governance, aligning business with technical requirements, guiding additional engineering initiatives, and maintaining strong written and oral communication with clients and stakeholders. Required qualifications emphasize cloud experience (AWS), enterprise and legacy modernization, and the ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments, with a preference for candidates who can collaborate across teams, travel to client locations, and hold/obtain appropriate security clearances.
