SolidWorks Design Engineer

Job Summary
Provide expert technical support for SolidWorks, Simulation, and PDM products by conducting training sessions at client locations and traveling to customer sites for hands-on assistance. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client queries, proactively assess usage, and recommend optimizations for productivity. Document technical solutions and share insights via articles or videos on the company's technical blog. This role requires a Mechanical or Automotive Engineering background with at least three years of SolidWorks experience and reliable transportation. Based in Mogappair West, Chennai, with a 9AM to 6PM schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SolidWorks
- Education in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Knowledge of engineering processes and terminology in mechanical CAD/design
- Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Must have reliable transportation (two-wheeler/four-wheeler)
- Valid drivers license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks Simulation and PDM
- Experience in product design, tooling design, or industrial/electrical system design
- Familiarity with Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- SOLIDWORKS certifications (CSWP/CSWE)
