Job Summary
Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs while performing equipment analysis and electrical work. Follow proper sampling procedures, complete daily reports, and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed, maintaining a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy. Demonstrate willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market
