Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice, advocacy, and representation in criminal law while mentoring and supervising solicitors to foster a culture of excellence. Manage a remote, multi-practice office in Wagga Wagga by optimizing resources for high-quality services and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external legal providers, and courts. Ensure team wellbeing through dedicated support programs while addressing complex legal challenges for disadvantaged communities across the Riverina.
Required Qualifications
- Be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
- Provide a current NSW Practising Certificate before you start work with us
- Hold a valid Drivers Licence
- Be willing to travel to regional and metropolitan offices as required (including overnight travel)
- Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
- Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment checks such as Working with Children Check, Criminal Record Check, and Conduct Service Check
