Job Summary
Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, handling freehold and leasehold sales, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build purchases. Draft, negotiate, and approve contracts while reviewing title documentation, searches, and mortgage offers to ensure efficient progression within agreed timescales. Deliver clear, commercially focused legal advice and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and effective expectation management. Ensure compliance with SRA requirements, AML regulations, and GDPR while actively contributing to departmental growth by developing networks with estate agents and brokers.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales
- current practising certificate
- at least 3 years post-qualifying experience
- no SRA sanctions
- Demonstrable experience in Residential Conveyancing
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
