Job Summary
Solicitor with 1–5 years PAE to join McInnes Wilson’s Brisbane commercial property and transactions team. Involved in property and commercial matters including managing Pexa settlements and stamp duty, advising on commercial and retail leasing, supporting trustee and ownership structures, drafting general commercial agreements, and handling property-related matters for schools, councils and institutional clients. Work alongside senior lawyers on complex property and development transactions, with exposure to governance frameworks and a collaborative, client-focused environment. Requires property or commercial transaction exposure, strong drafting skills, and a practical, solutions-driven mindset. Hybrid work arrangement in Brisbane.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years’ PAE
- Experience in Pexa settlements, stamp duty and leasing (commercial or retail preferred)
- A foundation in general commercial agreements or transactional work
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- A commercial mindset with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice
- The ability to work within structured and governance-heavy environments (or willingness to learn)
- A collaborative approach and desire to learn from experienced practitioners
