Job Summary
Manage a caseload of clinical negligence cases by discussing tactics with the Team Leader, identifying cases ready for LOC or settlement, and coordinating progression with internal and external parties. Draft legal documentation including letters of instruction, negotiate settlements, and litigate claims as required. Provide guidance to junior team members, oversee correspondence, and ensure thorough time recording while contributing to the team's financial and performance KPIs. Work 35 hours per week in a hybrid environment with a bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Solicitor Grade B (or Equivalent)
- Recent experience of handling a case load
- 5 years+ PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent IT skills especially in respect of Microsoft Office packages, proclaim and excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
- Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
- Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
- Excellent Client Care Skills
