Job Summary
Manage a caseload with a proactive commercial approach, coordinating case progression with internal and external parties while drafting legal documentation and negotiating settlements. Discuss and agree case tactics with the Team Leader, identify cases ready for LOC or settlement, and oversee team documentation and correspondence. Provide guidance to junior members on technical issues and support the Team Leader in delivering financial performance KPIs through effective time recording. This role requires 8+ years in Clinical Negligence, 35 hours weekly, and hybrid working.
Required Qualifications
- Solicitor or Equivalent (Clinical Negligence Grade A)
- 8 years+ PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
- Recent experience of handling a case load
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent IT skills especially in respect of Microsoft Office packages, proclaim and excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
- Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
- Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
- Excellent Client Care Skills
