Job Summary
Provide support, guidance, and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers while managing a caseload proactively and commercially. Discuss and agree case tactics with the Team Leader, identify cases ready for LOC, settlement, and service, and coordinate progression with internal and external parties. Draft legal documentation including letters of instruction, negotiate settlements, and oversee all team correspondence and technical issues. Ensure thorough time recording and support the Team Leader in delivering financial performance KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years+ PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
- Recent experience of handling a case load
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent IT skills especially in respect of Microsoft Office packages, proclaim and excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
- Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
- Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
- Excellent Client Care Skills
