Solicitor/CILEX Serious Injury (Gold/Platinum) (Birmingham)

Job Summary
Manage a complex, diverse caseload of multi-track serious injury cases, progressing them from inception to conclusion while assessing liability early and minimizing write-offs. Draft court documents, research points of law, and liaise with clients, experts, barristers, and insurers to ensure timely and commercial case progression. Attend court, joint settlement meetings, and case management conferences, including overnight stays when required, while maintaining accurate time recording and case order. Delegate tasks to assistants and mentor team members, while engaging in brand development and marketing.
Required Qualifications
- qualified, Grade A/B Solicitor, CILEX or FCILEX
- proven track record of successfully dealing with serious injury work
- traumatic brain injury
- complex orthopaedic injury
- amputation cases
- Proven KPI's in fees recovery, time recording and client care
- Experienced at dealing with a diverse range of liability scenarios
- EL/PL
- RTAs
- multiple defendants
- Excellent people and client care skills
- sensitive and professional approach
- Experienced in litigation at both County Court and High Court level
- Sound knowledge of the CPR
