Job Summary
Performs basic solder touch-up and rework on electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment. Conducts self-inspections to ensure workmanship meets Class 3 IPC-610 criteria and utilizes AOI results with guidance. Follows SOPs and established manufacturing processes, supports cross-training within production functions, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines. Communicates quality or process concerns to supervisors. Requires basic soldering skills, ability to read drawings, use a microscope, and perform precise measurements with strong attention to quality; willing to learn new processes and work in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant manufacturing or soldering experience preferred
- Basic understanding of soldering, electronic assembly, or IPC standards preferred
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
