Job Summary
Conduct assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies using work process procedures, diagrams, and specifications under a lighted magnified lens. Solder components to printed circuit boards with a soldering iron, focusing on fine pitch parts, thru-hole devices, touch-ups, and jumper wires. Apply flux, heat work pieces to specified temperatures, and clean tips using chemical solutions or wire brushes. Adhere to ESD and Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements while verifying product conformance to workmanship standards and ISO quality management systems. Monitor processes and surroundings, wear protective equipment, and utilize the electronic manufacturing system (OCuity).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years soldering on electronic assemblies
- Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system (OCuity)
- Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification
- Pass IPC-A-610 Modules: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 8
- Pass IPC-J-STD-001
- Candidates being considered for hire must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test which include screening for illegal drugs and marijuana
