Job Summary
Operate manual and CNC equipment to produce parts to specification under direct supervision. Interpret blueprints, requirements, and documentation to complete tasks while following all maintenance and safety processes. Apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Perform duties as assigned, including lifting and maneuvering 40 pounds and working in a team environment. Requires strong math skills, accurate measurement ability, and proficiency with Windows and MS Office. This role supports a company that invents, designs, and builds digital products and systems to protect power grids globally.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Able to operate Windows and MS Office
- Strong math skills
- Ability to accurately measure parts
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
