Job Summary
Design and implement a greenfield SolarWinds Observability Self Hosted Advanced deployment supporting 1,500 to 2,000 network nodes across production and non-production environments. Configure and validate NPM, NCM, IPAM, and UDT modules while deploying polling engines, establishing high availability, and integrating with ServiceNow and Dynatrace. Develop monitoring thresholds, dashboards, and reporting solutions; execute system validation, user acceptance testing, and production cutover activities. Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and implementation guides, then deliver knowledge transfer sessions to customer operations and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands on experience implementing SolarWinds in enterprise environments
- Proven experience with SolarWinds Observability Self Hosted or SolarWinds Orion based platforms
- Expertise with NPM, NCM, IPAM, and UDT modules
- Experience configuring SolarWinds alerting, dashboards, reporting, and monitoring policies
- Experience deploying and supporting SolarWinds high availability environments
- Strong understanding of SNMPv3 and enterprise network monitoring best practices
- Experience with device discovery, onboarding, polling engine deployment, and platform tuning
- Experience with role based access control and single sign on integration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Experience monitoring Cisco ACI environments
- Experience monitoring Cisco SD WAN environments
- Experience with F5 load balancing technologies
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks platforms
- Experience with Infoblox solutions
- Experience integrating SolarWinds with ServiceNow
- Experience integrating SolarWinds events with Dynatrace
- Experience supporting large scale enterprise network monitoring deployments
