Job Summary

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming solar equipment, materials, and supplies. Pick, stage, and prepare materials for scheduled solar installation projects. Load and unload trucks, deliveries, and shipments safely and efficiently. Maintain an organized warehouse, assist with inventory counts, and track equipment movement. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment while following all safety procedures. Report discrepancies for damaged or missing materials and maintain accurate documentation. Work collaboratively with warehouse, installation, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and organize solar equipment and materials
  • Ability to regularly lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally heavier items with appropriate assistance or equipment
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Must be able to follow all applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or adjusted schedules when business or project needs require
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Ability to work around construction materials, tools, equipment, and solar installation components
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, or material-handling experience
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory procedures
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and organize solar equipment and materials
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Solar industry or solar warehouse experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Willingness to obtain certification
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, or material-handling experience
