Job Summary
Perform maintenance and operations for solar PV sites and substations at utility-scale solar energy plants; handle corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance; operate Power Electronic HEMK Gen3 inverters and Nextracker Tracking systems; prepare and implement switching and clearance orders; ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards; work independently or in teams; travel up to 25% to support the Hardy Hills project in Indiana; outdoor environment with physical duties and use of protective equipment; collaborate with field personnel and leadership to maintain operations and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualifications (preferred)
- 3+ years as a PV O&M solar technician
- Experience with electrical/construction projects
- Knowledge of workplace safety and ability to follow and improve safety standards
- Technical proficiency with standard business software
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a diverse organization
