Job Summary
Solar & Storage General Manager – Year 1 responsible for safe, compliant, performance-driven operation of a large North American portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage assets. Leads end-to-end operational readiness from site initiation through turnover to Operations, partners with OEMs/Engineering to resolve technical issues, manages site and fleet budgets and inventory, ensures environmental/regulatory compliance, builds high-performing teams, engages with community stakeholders and regulators, and supports renewables recruiting. Requires strong leadership in multi-site operations, hands-on field services in solar/storage, exceptional project management, Six Sigma, financial acumen, travel ~30%, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with PE license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 7+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 7+ years
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
