Job Summary
Conduct weekly site visits to perform scheduled maintenance on Harness Energy solar resource assessment stations, including cleaning panels, leveling pyranometers, clearing vegetation under 6 inches, and tensioning guy wires. Document all work by photographing equipment and site conditions per site form instructions, capturing images of any damage, theft, or environmental risks, and notifying the Solar Support Team immediately for next steps. Submit site forms and photos to SharePoint by midnight the same day, text completion confirmations, and report replenishment needs within 24 hours of leaving. Maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate safety gear for outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and move about the site to physically clean the equipment and perform site maintenance
- Able to climb a 6ft step ladder
- Reliable vehicle or mode of transport to consistently and reliably visit scheduled site visits in various weather conditions, during all times of the year
- Must possess and maintain appropriate tools and equipment necessary to perform vegetation maintenance tasks, such as a weed eater, hedge clippers, or equivalent equipment
- Closed-toe shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, and weather-appropriate clothing
- Working personal smartphone
- Ability to send texts, emails, and make calls
- Ability to capture required photos
- Ability to download and utilize a free file-sharing application called SharePoint
- Ability to upload required documents and photos to SharePoint
- Ability to maintain and monitor an email account
- General technical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of hand tool usage
- Ability to acknowledge and sign the Harness Energy Safety Manual
- Ability to acknowledge and sign the Harness Energy Employee Handbook
