Solar Site Construction Manager

Job Summary
Lead field operations for medium-to-large solar construction projects from mobilization through commissioning, serving as the primary liaison between the site, vendors and subcontractors. Ensure projects are built safely on schedule and in accordance with contract documents, and collaborate with project management to keep field and office operations aligned. Oversee on-site execution for construction, testing, commissioning, and SCADA installation; monitor schedule milestones; review IFC drawings; manage inspections, QA/QC programs, and ITP compliance. Provide on-site leadership, coaching, hiring support, performance evaluations, and development for field staff; foster a collaborative team environment and ensure alignment with EPC contractual obligations. Coordinate permitting, logistics, and resource planning with engineering, procurement, and construction teams; prepare daily and status reports and manage change orders. Requirements include 5+ years of site-management experience in solar EPC or 3+ years with a relevant bachelor’s degree, OSHA 30, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager in solar EPC or renewable energy construction of large utility scale projects OR 3+ years of experience in solar EPC or renewable energy construction with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Management
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Current valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Strong knowledge of construction safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Experience in project scheduling, quality control, commissioning and sub-contractor management
- Strong background in reading and understanding blueprints
- Experience leading successful project teams and maintaining client relationships
