Job Summary
Develop and manage residential sales territory by knocking doors, networking, and following up on referrals to connect with homeowners. Present solar solutions, explain financing options, and guide customers through the purchase process while educating them on cost savings and energy independence. Monitor daily sales activities, track wins, and hit performance goals through weekly training meetings. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with the ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions. Applicants must hold a valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License; those without will be hired initially as Sales Schedulers before transitioning to direct selling upon licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Applicants must hold a valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in direct or commission-based sales preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
- If a candidate is selected but does not yet possess this license, they will be hired initially as a Sales Scheduler (paid at minimum wage and capped at 35 hours/week). Upon successfully obtaining the HIS license, the employee will transition into the Solar Sales Direct Seller role, which is 100% commission-based.
