Job Summary
Solar Project Manager responsible for guiding solar energy projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating between engineers, installers, clients, and vendors, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Requires leading project teams, developing subcontractor agreements, overseeing procurement and change orders, interfacing with utilities and municipal officials, and conducting weekly meetings. Periodic travel to project sites is required. Strong communication, budgeting, contract management, and safety compliance skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with solar/energy related projects or bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Experience leading successful project team, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with clients
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges
- OSHA 30 certificate
