Solar Project Manager (Regional Asset Manager)

Job Summary
Own full-scope asset management for 100-150 commercial solar sites; ensure 100% controllable Weather-Adjusted Production; hold vendors accountable; maintain site safety and prevent thermal events; visit about 10% of sites annually and inspect incoming sites; oversee 3–5 major site remediations yearly; act as a reliable POC for tenants and site contacts; manage provider lists and review preventive maintenance reports; track warranties and site history; approve invoices and keep data in Salesforce; be on-call for emergencies; collaborate with an in-house engineering team and external consultants; compensation includes base salary, benefits, 401(k), and take-home vehicle; travel and education reimbursements available.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman-level field experience with C&I solar systems (hands-on)
- 2+ years managing solar projects or O&M contracts
- Ability to read a 3-line electrical diagram and interpret spec sheets
- Familiarity with solar testing (thermals, megger, IR, ground faults, inverter troubleshooting)
- Strong understanding of site safety: OSHA 10/30, NFPA70E
- Vendor management skills; ability to push back on underperformers
- Clear communication and organization; close loops and keep people informed
- Comfort with Outlook, Word, Excel, Salesforce, Zoom, Teams, Slack
- Willingness to travel; ~1.5 days per week
