Job Summary
Manage preconstruction services by reviewing Owner expectations, negotiating contracts, and establishing programs to comply with MBE requirements. Coordinate with the design team, identify key subcontractors, and develop bid packages, schedules, and site utilization plans. Maintain project financials by developing GMP or Lump Sum contracts, analyzing subcontractor financial ability, and managing cash flow through detailed reports and monthly requisitions. Enforce safety and QC programs, conduct daily jobsite walks, and coordinate trade preconstruction meetings, vendor inspections, and permit approvals. Administer document control, RFI processes, and crisis management plans while recruiting and developing jobsite staff. Manage project closeout, obtain warranties, and collect final payments. Full-time salaried role requiring high travel across Louisiana, Colorado, and Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the Solar/EPC construction industry
- Strong computer skills including familiarity with construction project management applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills including coaching, mentoring and the ability to build and maintain motivated teams
- Highly developed project management finance skills
- Must be able to travel (Multi-state requires high travel classification)
