Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain solar energy systems; diagnose and troubleshoot PV systems; perform repairs or replacements; develop and implement a preventive maintenance program; maintain records of inspections, repairs, replacements, and parts used; collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure proper equipment setup and integration; address customer inquiries and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting over phone, email, or site visits; educate customers on system operation and maintenance; operate a company vehicle and travel to various worksites; stay up-to-date with solar industry trends and best practices; perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in solar maintenance or a related field.
- Solid understanding of solar PV systems, components, and associated electrical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing solar systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and handle tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel to different worksites as required.
