Job Summary
Lead Laborer responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials for other crafts. Duties include loading/unloading equipment, erecting/dismantling scaffolding, leveling ground for scaffolding, tending mortar and grout, moving and shoveling mortar and grout, cleaning and clearing debris, placing and vibrating concrete, and providing work direction to Laborer I/II/Helpers. Emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and openness to diverse input; performs all other duties as assigned. Mentions competitive benefits and that visa sponsorship is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of two-year apprenticeship program
- Experience in construction preferred
- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
- Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
