Job Summary
Load and unload equipment, erect and dismantle scaffolding, and level ground for staging. Tend mortar and grout, lift and move materials between wheelbarrows and buckets, place and vibrate concrete, and perform general cleanup including sweeping and debris removal. Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentices while building relationships with diverse backgrounds. Requires a two-year apprenticeship, construction experience, and ability to operate power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs is required; heavier tasks use assistance or equipment. Medical, dental, 401k with generous match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement are offered. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of two-year apprenticeship program
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers
- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs
