Job Summary
Follow layout plans to perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment for residential solar systems. Support the crew to assure the successful completion of installations while documenting quality work and maintaining OSHA compliance. Work 70-90% of the day on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions, carrying up to 60 pounds. Prior residential solar installation or roofing experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds
- Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs)
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must be a hard worker
- Must be willing to learn
- Must be motivated
- Must be willing to work on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions
- Must be available for 70-90% of the day working on rooftops
- Must be able to follow layout plans
- Must be able to perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Must be able to support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation
- Must be able to document completion of quality installation
- Must comply with OSHA standards
Desired Qualifications
- Prior residential solar installation experience
- Prior roofing/roofer experience
- Residential construction experience
