Job Summary
Coordinate with the install team to complete assigned solar projects safely, efficiently, and on time. Communicate with the Warehouse Tech to verify daily installation supplies, maintain a clean and organized work truck, and report any vehicle deficiencies to the Fleet Manager. Execute system installations according to plan sets and NEC requirements while adhering to OSHA standards, including wiring, grounding, and micro inverter installation. Complete all required documentation with photos and reports, uploading daily. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs of varying heights. Maintain a professional appearance and clean working environment while lifting 50lbs repeatedly. Possess a valid driver's license, 6 months of PV experience, and familiarity with flat, tilt, and shared rail systems.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Must be team oriented
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Experience in flat and tilt mounted rail systems along with top mount and shared rail systems
- Experience in roof wiring, grounding and installing micro inverters
- 6 months of PV experience and be familiar with NEC requirements related to PV installs
- Familiar with, and possession of, basic hand tools commonly used in solar work (flat bar, hammer, tape measure)
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the install
- Familiar with OSHA standards and fall prevention
