Job Summary
Assemble and construct solar systems by bolting clamps, hoisting torque tubes, setting drive motors, and installing modules to scheduled work plans. Maintain a clean job site, stock materials, and perform quality control while ensuring all tools and equipment meet safety standards. Tighten bolts to proper torque specifications and complete daily production goals in a team environment. Work in various weather conditions and confined spaces, reporting equipment issues immediately to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of material weighing 50 lbs
- Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions and confined spaces
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation
- Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with solar construction projects preferred but not required
- Prior experience using various tools that are required to install mechanical assemblies
