Job Summary
Solar Installer responsible for installing and overseeing field electrical work on residential solar energy systems, including installing panels, inverters, and related equipment per manufacturer specs and local codes. Duties include site assessment for structural integrity and shading, troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure system performance, accurate documentation of installations and metrics, collaboration with lead electricians and team members, and clear communication with customers about system operation and safety. Requires understanding of PV technology, electrical wiring and safety practices, ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights, attention to detail, and strong time-management skills; valid US work authorization for full-time employment is required. The role is based in Columbus, OH and is full-time with salary range $43,300 to $64,950 plus incentive opportunities."
