Solar Installation Manager

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Experience on roof and ground mounted PV systems
• NABCEP Installation Professional certification preferred
• Electrical license preferred (Journeyman or Master), or relevant experience with equipment layout, conduit runs, wiring, and interconnection preferred
• Experience coaching teams to work together to build trust and accomplish tasks
• Experience inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
• Experience setting up monitoring for PV systems
• Experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Experience developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience driving trucks with trailers, and operating lifts
• Experience determining time, costs, resources, and materials needed to perform electrical or solar work
• Experience providing guidance and direction to team members, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
• Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and provide coaching and mentoring to improve knowledge or skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to travel throughout the Hudson Valley and Capital regions
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs, bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb ladders and work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work at heights - ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and roofs
