Job Summary
Lead solar field sales efforts by training and mentoring a team of reps, close your own leads, and collaborate with the Solar Sales Manager to expand the team. Drive personal and team success through coaching, monitoring performance, and optimizing the lead-to-close process while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Stay current on solar industry trends and introduce innovations to keep the team competitive. The role combines hands-on field activity with leadership responsibilities and a strong income potential through base salary plus uncapped commissions and team overrides.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of in-person solar sales experience
- At least one (1) year of solar sales management experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders and going on roofs
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving team performance
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the solar industry, including products, services, and market trends
- Experience with roofing and other home improvement products is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
