Job Summary
Solar Field Sales Manager role focused on leading and developing the in-field sales team. Daily ride-alongs with reps to train, mentor, and sharpen skills; close your own leads; collaborate with the Solar Sales Manager to expand the team; implement best practices to optimize lead-to-close efficiency; monitor performance and provide feedback; ensure exceptional customer satisfaction; stay abreast of industry trends and introduce innovations to keep the team competitive. Compensation features a base salary of $65K–$80K with uncapped commissions and team overrides, with realistic take-home of $200K–$300K+ and no cap on potential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of in-person solar sales experience
- At least one (1) year of solar sales management experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders and going on roofs
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving team performance
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the solar industry, including products, services, and market trends
- Experience with roofing and other home improvement products is a plus
