Job Summary
Manage the complete execution life cycle of solar and energy storage projects from development through operations. Account for EPC budgets and schedules while coordinating with development, engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Drive value engineering, lead kickoff meetings, and execute EPC contract negotiations to align with cost, schedule, and commercial targets. Communicate critical milestones and high-risk items to stakeholders and management, overseeing interconnection utility interfaces and closeout coordination. Requires strong technical solar background, utility-scale experience, and ability to work independently with up to 40% travel. Located in Austin TX or Miami FL with remote options.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or Business degree
- Professional certification (PE, RA, or other)
- Strong technical solar background
- Large utility scale solar experience
- BESS experience
- Comprehension of solar cost structure
- Experience in EPC contract negotiations and management
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to perform in a high-growth, fast-paced, collaborative work environment
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary team meetings to achieve desired outcomes
- Proven business acumen skills
- Team player; ability to work with multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work with all levels of management
