Job Summary
Sort returned, soiled linen bags into appropriate classifications for washing preparation. Open customer soil bags weighing approximately 45 lbs., discard plastic, and spread product on the soil belt to facilitate visibility. Move empty carts to designated cleaning areas for reuse and call maintenance for equipment repairs or tag broken carts for repair. Execute pre-sort classifications meeting production standards of 45 bags or 2000 lbs. per hour. Dispose of unusual items found in soil bags appropriately. Perform tasks involving continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. in a non-conditioned facility with exposure to extreme temperatures and moving mechanical parts.

- Must be able to lift 10 – 50 lbs

- Must be able to pull / push force of 5 – 10 lbs
- Must be able to use right hand for simple grasping
- Must be able to use left hand for simple grasping
- Must be able to use right hand for power grasping
- Must be able to use left hand for power grasping
- Must be able to use right hand for pushing / pulling
- Must be able to use left hand for pushing / pulling
- Must be able to reach above shoulders
- Must be able to reach at or below shoulders
- Must be able to pick up bags from inside bins and place them on a table
- Must be able to use feet to operate foot controls
