Develop and maintain central applications in the z/OS environment, taking ownership of backend logic for core banking processes. Analyze requirements, design technical concepts, and implement solutions in Cobol, JCL, DB2, or modern technologies like Java and Spring. Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and distributed development teams in an agile feature team to drive modernization, modularization, and interface integration. Actively participate in code reviews and share knowledge to continuously improve code quality, automation, and technical excellence. Work within an agile framework, contributing to the digital transformation of banking clients through stable, performant mainframe systems.
