Job Summary
Software Verification Specialist responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of customer software through verification processes. Responsibilities include verifying software using technical documentation, achieving software builds across multiple programming languages, diagnosing and resolving build issues to meet quality standards, analyzing requirements and build processes, communicating effectively with team members and clients, and contributing to continuous improvement while staying current with emerging technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability within a remote-first company that operates in a software escrow context and maintains a central office in The Hague.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years development / DevOps experience (beneficial)
- 2+ years of experience with Linux, Windows and Mac environment fundamentals
- Basic understanding of popular backend languages (Python, Java, NodeJS and PHP)
- Prior experience or understanding of database- and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL)
- Prior experience or understanding of Git
- Basic knowledge of front-end languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript beneficial
- Basic knowledge of AWS technologies beneficial
- Basic knowledge of API configuration beneficial
- Experience with various build tools, like msbuild, webpack, maven, and others of the type beneficial
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development tools
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and identify key requirements
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex software issues
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with teams and clients
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various programming environments and quickly learn new technologies
- Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
