Job Summary
Design test plans and procedures to verify requirements, then execute procedures against designated code baselines. Prepare detailed test reports and update tracking software with results while working closely with users to verify requirements and software acceptance. Generate technical documentation pertinent to software testing and perform activities within NASIC adhering to security requirements for classified information access. This role supports the National Air and Space Intelligence Center on an Agile Scrum development team. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 3+ years' experience in QA/software testing
- Experience developing test plans, procedures, and creating test reports
- Experience with bug reporting/tracking tools (ex. JIRA)
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI (Preferred)
- Experience working under Agile development methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail and/or Zephyr
- Familiarity with automated test tools (ex. TestComplete, Google Test, QF-Test)
- Familiarity with languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) for automation and scripting
- Foundation Certification in Software Testing, International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) or American Software Testing Qualification Board (ASTQB)
