Job Summary
Software Tester in the Player Account Management team at a leading online gambling company. Collaborate within the Software Testing department to shape testing strategies and influence the future of software delivery, focusing on Risk, Regulatory, Limits and Self-Exclusion functionality. Define efficient test strategies, create BDD feature files with Gherkin, conduct QA testing on Responsible Gambling projects, report defects via Jira, and work with Product Managers, Product Analysts, and Developers to understand business and technical requirements. Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin syntax and ability to create clear BDD feature files
- Experience analyzing markdown files and technical API schemas
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
- Proactive approach to personal development and ability to retain knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently on project requirements
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset with attention to detail
- Progressive attitude towards new technologies, including the use of AI
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Product Analysts, and Developers to understand business and technical requirements
- Defining efficient test strategies and providing accurate estimates for testing phases
- Conducting quality assurance testing on Responsible Gambling-specific projects
- Reporting defects and managing them through to resolution using Jira
- Liaising with subject matter experts to develop product knowledge and enhance testing strategies
- Participating in planning and delivery of software projects
- Fostering strong relationships across the business and seeking new ideas
