Job Summary
Software Tester (f/m/d) – entry-level position in software testing for a medical device environment. Responsibilities include planning, preparation, and execution of manual tests (component, system, and integration); careful analysis, documentation, and traceable reporting of test results; independent creation of test cases based on specifications and risk assessments; close collaboration with development, quality, and project teams; ensuring compliance with global and internal regulations within a regulated medical device environment; active participation in continuous improvement of test processes and documentation. Requirements include a completed technical education with a focus on computer science or software development (advantageous), initial experience or strong interest in software testing, high accuracy and reliability, structured and responsible work style, good communication and teamwork, very good German and English skills, and ISTQB or related certification considered an asset. The position is based in Zipf, Austria with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung; Schwerpunkt Informatik/Softwareentwicklung oder vergleichbar von Vorteil
- Erste Erfahrung oder starkes Interesse im Bereich Softwaretesting
- Sehr hohe Genauigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Qualitätsbewusstsein
- Strukturierte, sorgfältige, verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise
- Gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten und Teamfähigkeit
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Ausbildung oder Zertifizierung im Bereich Softwaretest von Vorteil (z. B. ISTQB)
