Job Summary
Software Test Engineer for Medical Device Integration in Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) based in Bedford, MA. You will test and verify software solutions within the cardiovascular diagnostic space, ensure functional, safety, and performance requirements, and implement risk control measures. You will collaborate with Product Management and the Product Owner to create customer journey maps and user story mappings, ensure requirements are complete, clear, and testable, and develop comprehensive test artifacts (test scenarios, test plans, test cases). You will cover functional, performance, reliability, safety, and localization testing, establish full traceability between requirements and test cases to achieve 100% test coverage, validate requirements through structured testing, participate in Scrum teams and risk management activities like FMEA, and contribute to sprint execution and test-case development for software releases. You must be able to work in-office at least 5 days a week in Bedford, MA; onsite role. The posted salary range in MA is $115,000 - $182,000 with potential additional compensation and full Philips Total Rewards benefits. US work authorization is required; sponsorship is not provided. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- 4+ years of experience as Software Test Engineer or Verification Engineer or similar role
- Strong skills in test case management tools (e.g., Jama, Jira, TestComplete, Quality Center) and desktop test automation tools (e.g., Qt Squish, PyTest, WinAppDriver)
- Experience with regulated environments and compliance-driven testing
- Ability to collaborate with global software development teams
- Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
