Software Test Engineer (m/w/x)

Job Summary
Develop and implement automated tests using Python/pytest for complex software and system interfaces within the SigInt environment. Conceive and execute test strategies for components, subsystems, and full systems while conducting both automated and targeted manual testing. Analyze, reproduce, and systematically track errors through debugging on code and interface levels. Collaborate closely with software development and system engineering teams to ensure quality early in the process. Develop, maintain, and evolve test frameworks and infrastructure, actively participating in the CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins, including test integration, reporting, and quality gates.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Studiengang oder Ausbildung
- Berufserfahrung im Softwaretest
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Testdesign, Testmethoden und Testdokumentation
- Erfahrung mit gängigen Test- und Bug-Tracking-Tools
- Sicherer Umgang mit Linux-basierten Systemen und komplexen IT-Infrastrukturen
- Erfahrung im Umgang und der Kommunikation in interdisziplinären Teams
- Sehr gute Deutsch- & Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Desired Qualifications
- idealerweise in sicherheitskritischen oder komplexen Systemen
- vorzugsweise mit ISTQB-Zertifizierung oder vergleichbar
- idealerweise mit Testautomatisierung (z. B. Jenkins, Pytest)
- Sicherer Umgang mit Linux-basierten Systemen und komplexen IT-Infrastrukturen ist von Vorteil
