Job Summary
Automated test engineer designing and implementing automated tests for NielsenIQ’s Connected platform. You’ll build and maintain automated test scripts using Java with Playwright/Selenium, collaborate with Product and Development teams to capture test requirements, plan/analyze/execute regression tests, and advance CI/CD practices. The role emphasizes high-quality code, robust test suites, and proactive problem-solving within an agile, globally distributed team (hubs in India and the US).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
- 2-4 years of software development and/or automated testing experience
- Hands-on automation experience in Java with Playwright/Selenium
- Good knowledge of SQL concepts & Java
- Experience with automated test frameworks (TestNG, RestAssured, Playwright)
- Experience with API testing (manual and automated)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Experience with tools like JIRA, GitHub, Confluence
- Experience in agile software development practices and DevOps
- Excellent English communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
