Job Summary
As a Software Test Engineer for Wireless Products, you will design, implement, and execute test procedures for new headset products with technologies like Bluetooth and Active Noise cancellation. Responsibilities include supporting all phases of the software lifecycle, creating validation plans, participating in design reviews, reporting failures, collaborating with team members, and improving testing methods through automation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering with 6-8 years of SQA experience, expertise in wireless protocols, and strong communication and troubleshooting skills. Experience in mobile device interoperability testing on both iOS and Android is also valuable.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering
- 6-8 years of experience in SQA
- Expertise with Bluetooth, WiFi or other wireless & networking protocols
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute test plans and test cases
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Able to collaborate across the organization or independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Python
- Experience with basic lab equipment (BT analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Familiarity with Test Case management systems such as Jama
- Familiarity with executing scripts on automation systems
