Job Summary
Software Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans for complex features; own test coverage and environments; collaborate with engineers and PMs; mentor junior team members; contribute to QA standards; work in a hybrid Cincinnati-based role requiring 5+ years of web application testing experience and proficiency with Selenium/Jest/JUnit/CodeceptJS/JavaScript, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) within CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional testing web applications experience
- Experience with test frameworks, programming languages, and automation tools (Selenium, Jest, JUnit, CodeceptJS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and testing processes
- Experience testing APIs and working with relational/non-relational databases
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ability to debug issues and assist in root-cause analysis
- Strong sense of ownership, independence, and accountability
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and modern release pipelines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
