Job Summary
Software Test Engineer – Aurora, CO. Responsible for defining capabilities for systems, performing system engineering, integration and test, and writing test procedures to validate requirements. The role supports Kaldi Team activities for Navy missions, with DevOps testing framework exposure, Proxmox experience, and tooling such as Robot Framework, GIT, Docker, CI/CD, Python, Selenium, and JavaScript. Requires active Top Secret clearance with SSBI and SCI access and US Citizenship. Salary range $125,000–$180,000 plus benefits. Location is Aurora, CO; on-site work is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access
- US Citizenship required
- 4-6 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Test Engineer or similar field (or 2 years less with a Computer Science degree)
- Experience with requirements identification and defining capabilities for systems
- System engineering, integration and test
- Test procedure writing
- Experience with DevOps and testing frameworks (preferred)
- Experience with Proxmox or similar technology (preferred)
- Experience with Robot Framework, GIT, Docker, CI/CD, Python (and Selenium), JavaScript (preferred)
- Current Security+ certification (preferred)
- Software coding experience (e.g., Python)
- Adjust code during testing
- Unit test experience
